BIOGRAPHY

Erin White has 20 years of experience making wheel-thrown pottery. Erin began studying Ceramics in Michigan and Ohio before moving to the Capital Region. She started learning at the Arts Center in 2007. She became a Studio Assistant in 2013 and is now teaching beginning and intermediate level wheel classes and helps with events and open houses. She focuses on teaching the basic bowl, cylinder, and plate forms in her beginner class and aims to be a patient and enthusiastic instructor who considers the individual learning styles and goals of her students. Her work focuses on earthy and rustic functional wheel-thrown forms for the kitchen and table.
