#HopeSpringsEternalTroy
The Arts Center of the Capital Region is proud to present #HopeSpringsEternalTroy, a photography installation by Chad Kleitsch, on view from River St. through November 1, 2022.
#HopeSpringsEternalTroy
Photographer Chad Kleitsch transforms the landmark of The Arts Center with a large-scale installation of scanography: a photography process using a digital computer scanner as a way to rediscover image making. Portraying botanical objects through this technology, Kleitsch evokes elements of biology, illusions of light, and the humanity of each subject. Kleitsch began adorning the windows of storefronts and galleries around the Hudson valley in April 2020 as a means of raising morale during the pandemic. The Art Center’s façade features Kleitsch’s translucent botanical images to enlighten our part of the Troy riverfront skyline.
