2 BLOCKS OF MURALS IN TROY!

CHURCH STREET, BETWEEN STATE + FERRY STREETS

What is Troy Art Block?

Troy Art Bock is a new public art program produced by the Arts Center in fall 2023.
For Troy Art Block we curated and produced 28 temporary murals in two blocks of the Church Street alley, between State & Ferry Streets, in downtown Troy.
Our goals were to: 1) Create a unique destination for art lovers throughout the region.
2) Use street art to create a distinctive urban experience for visitors and residents who use Troy’s historic alleys as thoroughfares. And,
3) Attract customers to Troy’s locally-owned businesses.
We hope to present a new festival every two years. As the first open-air gallery in the Capital Region,
Troy Art Block is a playful destination for art lovers and a unique urban experience for Troy’s visitors and residents.
