You have a story to tell: a personal experience, a coming-of-age memory, a story about a struggle, an accomplishment, a transformative event in your life. You might be hoping to publish an article, or start a memoir, or preserve history for your children. We will work together to bring your narrative to life, employing several elements of vivid writing: finding the focus, developing a narrative arc, leading with visual and emotional impact, using precise and active language, developing scenes and dialogue that reveal personality, and using the personal to connect to universal humanity.
