Thursdays, 6/14/18–8/2/18 | 6:00 PM–9:00 PM | 8 Sessions
Instructor: Michael Welch
Level: Beginner
Find out what memoir is, and how to write one, in this class that focuses on the beginner who has the desire to get down on paper those things he or she wants to say about life. Everyone has something useful and important to say, and this class will provide students with a safe and fun place to learn how to say it. Students don’t need a degree in English or any kind of expertise in writing at all. All that is needed is a desire to learn and the same everyday, ordinary language you use to navigate through daily life. Marion Roach Smith’s book, The Memoir Project: A Thoroughly Non-Standardized Text for Writing and Life, will be the only reading required and will be provided the first day of class.
I want to register for the September session. How do I do that?
