In this intensive workshop with Kevin Craig West and Román R. Jáquez, actors and filmmakers will acquire working knowledge to successfully complete and market short films a well as feature films. ACTORS: On the first day, instructors will cover acting basics, help you find your frame, work on hitting your marks, learning lines quickly, and using proper vocal projection. The second day will focus on filming, maintaining continuity, and then marketing and networking. Filmmakers will acquire working knowledge to successfully complete and market short films a well as feature films. On the first day, students will learn about the tools of the trade, telling your story, setting up a budget, casting your film, securing a crew, scouting locations, DSLR cinematography, lighting, sound, music, script breakdown, and shotlisting. The second day will focus on scheduling production, directing your actors and crew, filming, slating, shot logging, script continuity, audio/video sync, pos production editing, finishing the film and marketing/distribution.

Please note that this class will meet from 9AM – 5PM on Saturday, and 12PM – 4PM on Sunday.
