This intermediate glass-fusing class will cover several methods for creating your own patterns on glass sheets. In the first session, students will have the choice to create free-hand designs or to employ surprising materials, like leaves and scrapbooking supplies, as stencils. We will then enhance and complement these patterns using “accessory glass”–glass in non-sheet form. During our second session, we will fashion the fired glass into jewelry, using high-quality wire and a glass-grinding technique.
