This is a great introductory course that covers the fundamental concepts and techniques of both design and creation of original jewelry using metals. The course covers the techniques of piercing and filing, soldering and polishing. Students will work with metal alone and in combination with other materials. Development of individual designs will be encouraged. This course involves the use of hand tools requiring fine motor coordination. Special registration polices apply; please call 273-0552.
