Takeyce Walter draws inspiration from the Adirondack region as she presents landscape paintings- each revering the impressive way our surroundings are affected by light and air in changing seasons. Using oils and pastels to catch the glimmer of sun on picturesque streams, with vivid color to evoke the majestic skies, her impressive catalog of work exhibits the continual familiarity of our surroundings by capturing fleeting moments of observation.

Creative Collective: Featuring Kate Edwards + Creative February Artists

Takeyce Walter began Creative February as a challenge to create every day during the month of February, to reinvigorate her love for art and honor the creative urge. Creative February gained popularity on social media, inspiring other artists across the country to create a piece of art each day of February every year. The exhibition Creative Collective will showcase both a juried selection of work by local artists who participated in Walter’s Creative February challenge in 2021 and the work of Kate Edwards.
