Coleen Murtagh Paratore is the author of 17 picture book through young adult novels, including the best-selling The Wedding Planner’s Daughter (Simon and Schuster), now a six book series and optioned for a movie: the New York Public Library “Best Book of the Year,” Sunny Holiday; the 2012 Mom’s Choice Gold Award winner and Amazon “Top Ten Picture Book,” BIG; and the critically acclaimed autobiographical novel, Dreamsleeves, set in circa 1970’s Troy, NY. A full-time writer and teacher, Coleen is on the Advisory Board of the Rutger’s Council on Children’s Literature, and a member of the Society for Children’s Book Writer’s and Illustrators and the Children’s Literature Connection.
