In this series of five classes, participants will learn the journalistic and technical basics of creating a podcast. Each participant will finish the program with their own pilot podcast episode, 15-20 minutes long. Topics covered in the course will include interview/question writing technique, storytelling, finding and crediting sources, audio recording and editing, and finishing/sharing your podcast. Resources will also be made available for future reference to participants to further their podcast-creating craft, if they are so inspired. There will not be any required software or equipment cost to participants of the class, but we will discuss the kinds of software and recording equipment that are best for various applications and budgets.
