Ariana Kolins uses the touch of her fingers to create both functional and sculptural pieces with the pinching technique.  Graduated with a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies and a minor in Ceramics from Guilford College and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in ceramics from the Oregon College of Art and Craft, Ariana has traveled across the country seeking out clay communities.  Currently an Artist in Residence at the Worcester Center for Craft, she is excited to be in place where she can develop her own work and share it with others.   Ariana has exhibited her sculpture in both regional and national shows and you can find her functional work in stores and galleries throughout the Hudson Valley.  You can see more at
