Join chef Julianna Glassanos once a month in an exciting new cooking class formed around the concepts of seasonal cooking and creativity. One Saturday each month, our class will meet at the Farmer’s Market and explore the seasonal and fresh offerings by local farmers and vendors. After gathering fresh items such as; produce, meat, dairy, breads, and herbs and spices, a hands-on instructional cooking class will follow at the Arts Center lead by chef Julianna. We will learn how to utilize what’s “in season” and create easy, wholesome, and delectable meals. This class is perfect for cooks of any skill level who are interested in learning how to shop at the Farmer’s Market to eat seasonally, and gain confidence in preparing dishes with unfamiliar ingredients. Chef Julianna Glassanos studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
