Power yoga is a class for those who enjoy a challenge through intensity. The sequences strengthen the core to give greater coordination between upper body and lower body. The arms and shoulders tone and the legs become more powerful. The hips and hamstrings lengthen increasing flexibility. The principles of focus are precise anatomical alignment, vinyasa and mindfulness. This class is free to veterans and this practice is effective in reducing in reducing stress. All levels welcome.
