Do you love photography? In this intensive week designed for students that have an interest in photography and telling stories, students will work together as a group using photojournalism to put together a social documentary book. Local photojournalist Patrick Dodson will lead students through every step of the process, including developing a specific idea, planning shoots, laying out pages, and proofing the final product. You may bring your own camera, but DSLR cameras and instruction will also be provided. Students should have basic knowledge of digital cameras and computers. Two copies of the class book, printed locally by Troy Book Makers, will be provided to each student to be added to their professional or personal portfolios.
