This class will use the concepts of suspension, gravity, energy, and counter-balance. It will explore these concepts through floor work, a standing warm-up, and dance phrases that give students a chance to really move. The class will utilize sounds and rhythm to help students better understand the nuance of movement. This class is intended for beginning students, but students with some experience are welcome.
