Supervised open studio is for experienced jewelry and metalworking students who wish to work independently on their own projects. Students who are enrolled in a six or ten week class may attend open studio at no cost. For experienced students, Open Studio Cards are sold in ten-hour increments that can be used freely during any open studio session. Students must have taken at least Jewelry I and complete a brief studio orientation with a faculty member or studio assistant. A once-annual $45 fee must be paid at the purchase of your first card to cover the cost of flux, solder, and other expendable studio materials.
