Introduction to Off Camera Flash

This one-day workshop participants will expose participants to the foundation of flash photography. We will discuss how to create and modify light for various applications, including event and portrait work. Participants will experiment with various flash setups including on camera and off camera scenarios and will work indoors and outdoors (weather permitting). Participants will need a DSLR camera, external flash (if applicable), portable external hard drive, CD/DVD or flash drive, notebook, and writing utensil. Prerequisite: Intro to Photography 101 or firm knowledge of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and camera metering.
