DROP IN RATE: $12.00 Come stretch out in our spacious, airy studio with lots of natural light and views of the Hudson river and have an authentic experience in a non-judgemental environment with an experienced, certified instructor. This one hour class is designed for people who would like to increase their physical fitness or who have a desire to do yoga, but feel like they are not flexible enough or have a limiting physical problem. This gentle yoga class will give you a good workout and not cause injury in the process by meeting you where you are. A step by step approach, using props such as chairs, blocks, blankets and straps support your muscles in positions that will make you stronger and more flexible. Restorative poses focus on gently lengthening and decompressing the spine, while creating greater flexibility and stronger muscles. Poses are helpful in dealing with chronic pain or stress because supported poses help us to relax and rest deeply promoting healing and recovery from illness, injury or the stress of everyday life. Many supported poses gently stretch the body with no movement or effort as we transition to a fusion of movement and music designed to further energize the body, focus awareness and calm the mind. Stop in to relax and restore your body and mind and then shop at the Troy Farmer’s market. Walk ins welcome. NO CLASS 4/19.
