Ever thought of painting on the computer? In this course for Artists and computer buffs alike, we will cover strategies for drawing with Wacom tablets, creating realistic ink and watercolor effects, creating and using textures in photographs and scanned artwork, collaging and compositing photographs with artwork, and more. Learn the basics of Photoshop CS5 while focusing on digital “painting” techniques. You’ll come away with a variety of approaches and a working knowledge of free computer software to download and use on your own. Beginner and intermediate Photoshop users welcome. Participants must be comfortable with basic computer operations. Mac experience is helpful, but not required.
