Get your hands into some clay in the ceramics studio! In this free workshop you will learn the basics of throwing on a potter’s wheel! Our pottery team will help you make a bowl on the wheel and then afterwards, we’ll fire it in our kiln and glaze it for you, and let you know when it is ready to pick up. *PLEASE NOTE, Masks will be required to be worn for this workshop.

The Arts Center would like to invite you to a safe, fun, and interactive art making experience for all ages. Our Studio Sampler workshop event is a great way to meet our teaching artists, explore our studios, and learn about all the creative classes we have to offer throughout the year.
Participants will pre-register online for this FREE workshop event to ensure we can provide you with a safe creative experience. Each workshop will have a dedicated time slot available that will be limited to 8 participants per studio. Throughout each day our teaching artist will be providing you with hands-on art making projects, demonstrations, and collaborative art creations.

All free workshops require preregistration below (Maximum of 8 students per adult workshop)
For your safety all participants are required to follow current CDC guidelines.
Following registration, students will receive a direct email confirming registration.
If you are unable to attend after registering, we ask that you please contact Joseph@artscenteronline.org so we are able to open your seat to another participant.

Have you ever wanted to explore the art of woodworking? In this free workshop you will learn how to build your own shaker peg rack! This workshop is perfect for beginners to learn the tools and techniques of working with wood. No experience necessary!
Glass Fused Jewelry Sampler Workshop (Adults 18+)
Time: 12:00pm-2:00pm
Instructor: Charlotte Hirschberger
Explore the exciting medium of fused glass, while nurturing your ability to effectively employ color and light. You will craft 3 jewelry-sized creations by layering small pieces of art and dichroic glass on a background “canvas” piece to create your choice of small scenes or abstract, mosaic-like compositions. Finished pieces will be left behind for the instructor to fire in a glass kiln and participants will have their work mailed out to them upon completion.
Stained Glass Studio Sampler Workshop
(For Adults 18+)

Have you always wondered what it would be like to take a stained glass class? In this free workshop class, you will learn about the possibilities in our stained glass studio including design, glass cutting, soldering, polishing, and finishing. Participants will watch a demo, try working with the glass, and gain knowledge to jump start their interest in stained glass!
