The Rural Landscape: Master Class with Robert Moylan

In this special master class with Robert Moylan, students will focus on how to simplify the subject to its basic forms, perspective and color mixing. Techniques will be demonstrated with gouache paint but watercolor is also welcome. There will be demos and hands on painting. Rain date on Sunday. Class will meet in northern and southern Washington county. The first class will meet at LeLoup Road by the Tomhannock Reservoir. Maps will be provided for future classes. Students should bring their painting supplies (brushes, paint and paper), a board to support the paper, sketch paper, pencils & water. A small folding easel is recommended. Students should also plan to bring water, a hat, bug spray, and other outdoor necessities. This class is recommended for students with some painting experience, but beginners are welcome.
