KATHERINE WRIGHT

BIOGRAPHY

Katherine Wright is a professional creative working in the mediums of photography, videography, design, marketing and is a highly sought after educator. She has taught thousands of photographers from amateurs to professionals. Katherine is renowned for her extensive photographic knowledge both technical and artistic. Based out of New York’s Capital Region, she teaches virtually everything photographic including traditional wet lab, digital lab, basic to advanced shooting techniques, lighting techniques, post production workflow, professional business practices, and exhibition practices.


Katherine’s commercial work is noted for her lighting, storytelling and ability to capture the natural essence of her subjects. In her personal work, she explores women in myth in conjunction with alternative process. Katherine’s images are included in many private collections and she has been exhibited in various galleries on the east coast. In addition to her many commissioned photographic endeavors, Katherine conducts workshops and lectures both privately and with many institutions in New York.

In her spare time, Katherine enjoys films, cooking, sewing, hiking traveling and volunteering her creative skills to many non-profit organizations in the Capital Region.
