Storyteller Bairbre McCarthy and choreographer Ellen Sinopoli take audiences on a fantastical journey weaving stories, song and dance to follow the Celts from Central Europe to Scotland, Wales & Ireland and across the Atlantic to Appalachia. See and hear the myth of the seal people, the legend of the swans, the adventures of Jack (beyond the beanstalk) and the tales of the Appalachian wise women.

Hometown folk rockers, RESTYS, are celebrating the highly anticipated release of their first album. And they won't be doing it alone. Maggie Estep will read from her book-in-progress, The Angelmakers, a novel about female gangsters in late 19th century New York, along with excerpts from her earlier work, including a sampling of spoken word poetry she performed on MTV, PBS and HBO’s “Def Poetry Jam.”
