Ashtanga Yoga

Learn about the basics of Ashtanga, also known as Power Yoga. The course will cover breath, bandhas (energy locks), and meditation. Students will learn Sun Salutations and begin to learn the asanas (postures) in the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. This class will move more slowly than a typical Ashtanga class, allowing participants to develop skills necessary for future Ashtaga/Vinyasa Flow classes. No class 6/26.

Chakra Yoga

This is a six week class that will introduce the Chakra System as it relates to your yoga practice. Chakras are center for the
reception, assimilation and expression of life force energy. In this course you will learn to how to support your Chakra system
through asana (postures) and other yogic practices. We will be doing some writing, meditation and discussion as part of the
learning. Please bring a journal, meditation cushion or pillow if you have one, and an open heart. This course is not open for drop in.
