Vinyasa Yoga For All

This all-levels Vinyasa yoga class will be energizing and rewarding, flowing from Sun Salutations, standing and seated postures, twists, back bends, inversions, and juicy well-deserved relaxations. Learning to build postures from the ground up allows each student to practice at the appropriate level with the opportunity to grow and challenge oneself safely. By connecting the breath to the movement with power and grace, regular Vinyasa practice will teach the student to know their body, quiet their mind, and connect to their inner self.

Om style yoga is a blended practice of flowing yoga asanas informed by precise attention to alignment and supported by the relaxed wakefulness of Buddhist mindfulness meditation. Ashtanga Yoga

Learn about the basics of Ashtanga, also known as Power Yoga. The course will cover breath, bandhas (energy locks), meditation.Students will learn Sun Salutations and begin to learn the asanas (postures) in the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. This class will move more slowly than a typical Ashtanga class, allowing participants to develop skills necessary for future Ashtaga/Vinyassa Flow classes.
