Basketweaving: Summer Garden Basket

Learn to weave a lovely basket for your summer gardening needs. Using a 14″ by 10″ wooden “D” handle, natural and dyed reed, we will weave this large rectangular basket with a filled bottom. The basket measures 14″ wide by 18″ long and the side is 4″ tall without the handle. Please bring a bagged lunch. Beginners welcome.

Paperlove! Making and Marbling

Do you love fancy papers? Looking for some fun new techniques to add to your repertoire, or new papers for your art projects? In this class, we will learn a Korean papermaking technique called “Joomchi” to create layered, strong textured papers. We will also learn how to create colorful marbled patterns on paper to use in bookmaking, collage and greeting cards.
