FAMILY SUNDAYS AT THE ARTS CENTER
Family Sundays at The Arts Center offer exciting and affordable arts activities for children and their grown-ups! Join the fun at 1 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month for $5 per kid. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There is no charge for adults. Parents and caretakers are encouraged to stay, participate and enjoy an art-filled Sunday with the family!

September: Tie-Dye!

In this psychedelic Family Sunday, we’ll be transforming our plain white t-shirts into swirling, colorful wearables! Bring an old T-shirt, a pair of socks, or any light-colored cotton item.
October: Dia De Los Muertos

Members/ Non-Members: $5
We’ll travel all the way to Mexico for the Day of the Dead! Learn about this ancient holiday, which began as a day of thanks for the harvest. From colorful flowers to scary skulls, we’ll learn about the holiday that inspired what we know as Halloween!
November: Story Book Arts

Cozy up with some of our favorite children’s books. After a fun read-aloud, we’ll create exciting artwork based on these classic stories.
December: Creative Holiday Cards

Members/ Non-Members: $5
In this wintry Family Sunday, we’ll create unique holiday cards for every person on your list! With enough paint, glitter, glue and cardstock to go ‘round, just bring your imagination and a little good cheer!
