ACCR Public Art Closet
The Arts Center’s Public Art Closet is on pause until further notice.
The ACCR Public Art Closet is a membership service provided by The Arts Center of the Capital Region to Capital Region artists.
With a membership to the ACCR Public Art Closet, artists can borrow supplies for public art use. Equipment can be borrowed for one week (six overnights from Friday to the following Friday) at no charge, for one rental period per month. Artists can check out up to six items per rental period. If more items are needed, special arrangements can be made.
The closet is affordable for every artist. It’s free to use for all artists or art event producers with an ACCR Memberships at the $55 level or above for the length of your membership or register as a non-member with a one-time annual fee of $60.
By joining members gain access to the following supplies, including but not limited to: Painting supplies (brushes, rollers, pressure-washers, paint-sprayers, drop cloths), Placemaking and Performance supplies (tents, speakers, wireless microphones, projectors), and other helpful tools (ladders, scaffolding, generators, extension cords!)
